I unplugged the wiring harness from the motor and checked the continuity. I have continuity between white and yellow. White is 120 thru timer to motor. Yellow is 120 thru timer thru thermostat thru heater heading to centrifugal switch in motor so that heater only runs with motor turning. I have no continuity between the whie and either the gray (coming thru door and start switches) or tan (coming thru timer unswitched not sure what it does). So I can't figure out how the motor is turning if it's only getting voltage from the white with no continuity back thru either tan or gray to form a circuit. How else could the circuit be completed?

This just confirms what I already strongly suspected. The motor is operated by power coming from one side of a circuit that is normally completed thru the start and door switch. So it must be completely that circuit in a mysterious way.
