Okay the injection timing device has arrived from Germany thanks to the Classic Center.

and the locking pin to lock the injection timing.

Now the cylinder head cover is off and ready to remove the camshaft sprocket.

Now from what I've learned the camshaft sprocket and the injection timing device must be removed. 1st the crankshaft must be turned 14 degrees +0.5 degrees after TDC of cylinder 1.
Then the camshaft sprocket and injection timing sprocket must be marked with paint relative to the timing chain.
Then install the locking pin and remove the chain tensioner.
Then remove the cam sprocket (3 bolts and to install the bolts tighting to 18 Nm.) and timing sprocket by pushing the chain to the outside.
Now reassemble with the new part and after installation crank engine 1 revolution by hand and check TDC marking on crankshaft/camshaft.
Have I missed anything?
And do you have advice on what else should be done now that I am this deep in the engine? For example valve guides etc.
Thanks for your time.
