After swapping to 8,0mm MW 0-90km/h 18 sec
Nice smoot Power, Good at low idle, 1,8 bar max boost with a slight black smoke after
Automatic transmission started to slip a bit att full load.
This is OM617A Standard, no other Changes than pump.
On negative thing is that the Engine stall and stop after hard load, Dont know if its a fuel pressure issue or if its a damper capsule adjustment that needs to be done. As I Sayed, an experiment.
Element is thick type, not thin type MW, thats why I have this adaptor plate on 3 mm.

Just to clarify, this G wagen went from 62 sec 0-90kmh down to 18 sec 0-90kmh? Holy crap. Thats like strapping a rocket on your back.
I also note 1,8 bar boost... thats about 28psig!! I would've thought something would've failed or on its way to fail as the design boost is about 0,8 bar?
Then you said its a regular OM617A, no changes other than the pump. So what pushed the boost so high? There must be some magic happening somewhere that I am not aware of.
There is plenty about injection pumps I do not know, and I thirst for knowledge!
