Even if the matter is brought before a Grand Jury, it seems the jurors have a "if the cop pulled the trigger which resulted in death or injury then it must have been justified because cops are never wrong" attitude. It's as though the cops have been granted not only a literal license to kill but the dumb a** jurors give 'em a pass.
Give a man a badge and a gun and for the first time in his life he has some real power. Yesterday he was nobody, today he's somebody. What's the old saying? Absolute power absolutely corrupts?
