Because I don't think about them. They only happen now and then and don't cause too much issue. I was out in one and isn't that bad if you stay in the auto. Also one should be cleaning weekly so a little extra dust shouldn't be an issue.
John, have you been in a desert? It is VERY lush! Plants adapt to the conditions. It is so beautiful! The colors all year round! I love it so much I am putting in desert landscaping. We even have native grapes!
It is much warmer since modern man over came the desert. It used to not get over 110*F and now because of the urban heat island we are now hitting 120*F in the Valley. That is one reason I am looking to purchase a little parcel up in the higher part of the State.
Good to know! Is it really worth the risk?
