I too also received an email to post here...back in June of 2012 before my wife and I got married, I decided I wanted to have a W108 be our wedding car, but I didnt want to spend more than 500 bucks [ambitious I know]. Ive redone one of these before so I knew what to expect for 500 bucks. I found a candidate in Waynesboro, VA and boy was it a project.
The car sat in a field for 15 years, and the guys backyard for 2 who I bought it from. I rushed to find a vehicle transport, but could only find a dolly, was a interesting trip back, as the front caliper locked, and I was forced to pulled the pads out with only a hub cap puller, tire iron and an eye glasses repair screw driver.
her when i finally got her to my old townhome, still not running.
