Is the part number for the bracket in question 617 090 03 40
Mercedes wants $125 for it!
If you still have your old one, I'd see about welding it up to both fix it and strengthen it.
Another good idea is to wedge something up between the valve cover and the air cleaner to prevent excessive vibration and be sure to use MB air cleaner mounts and heat shields. I used to go through the after market rubber mounts pretty quick. MB ones still intact a number of years later.
