As a reality check, I bought a 1987 300TD in the last couple of years which is white/blue with less rust than this car and with less miles than this car. I was out of town when the CL ad for my car got listed, and it was 2 weeks before I was able to buy the car. I was the only person that had expressed interest. The asking price in the CL ad was (drum roll, please).... $2500.
