I said in your thread about that car, i had a similar cool old classic, value was about 2k. Ultimately sold it for 1500 bucks.
What are you trying to get out of it for price?

I had it down to $6300 and decided to give up. I could never replace it for that kind of money, and my situation, while humbling, is thankfully only temporary. I have turned down $5000 a few times, along with countless joyrides from old men driving nice, new vehicles, deeply in debt, who want to talk your ear off. Don't have two pennies to rub together.
I bought it because I love the car. I'm selling it because I'm trying to get rid of anything frivilous to pay down the debt I've accumulated. Other than a mortgage, I've never had debt before. Just didn't expect my business to flip like a light switch.
Thankfully I still chose to live well below my "percieved" means.
I also picked up an old Prius a month ago and sold off my Suburban. The prius was $3000 cheaper and saves me about $300 a month in gasoline. I refuse to wash the ugly thing.
The transmission blew up in the 300SDL. I'm fixing it and selling.
