I heard that some of the bikes were stolen.

About the only thing I have related to "Captain America" is a Franklin Mint model like this one. I started collecting them about 20 years ago when I bought my first HD-a 1991 1200 Sportster. I also have its movie road companion, the Billy Bike, the 57 Sportster, the AMF white "Boat tail" FX Shovelhead, one with a sidecar, and a 2003 100th Anniversary Road King and one or two more. They were very detailed and well crafted models. I didn't realize the Franklin Mint had gone out of business until someone told me of it not too long ago.
