I put a system in my wife's 1978 280 a few years ago. As i recall the install went smoothly and pretty straight forward. I do not remember a red and white stripe wire with power on it. Plus that is a beautiful car. I never imagined that her car could have looked that good. Congratulations on your previous improvements and good luck with your new project.
