When packing boxes some commercial carriers use cargo strips that hold the boxes for easy handling. These are crimped tight so the boxes don't have too much flex/play.

I asked for a bunch when I had the chance, a tow truck driver used this same material for getting into my sister's 190E when she locked herself out. Get maybe 2-3 feet, fold one end, insert folded end through weatherstrip and door pillar, manipulate using 2 ends from outside to loop on the door lock pin, pull to grab hold and lift up to open.

I should start keeping some in my trunk, in case I need to help a friend or family member out. I always keep a spare duplicate (flat) key in my wallet for my 300D.
