Blackmercedes, if a set of front pad is gone for 25K miles is shocking to you, my wife '00 E430 ate two set of front pads at 22K miles, the car is about 34K miles now, and it will need both front and rear pads in about 1 month along with front dics and third set of tires. The car braking is oustanding, but brake dust on front wheel is horrible. I am trying PBR Deluxe this time to see if it will have less dust or not and also if it will last longer than 20K miles. The car eats brake and tires like Gremlin, but it drives so beautifull and I enjoy every minute of it when I sit in the driver seat. To me, it is the cost of hapiness.
