I just did it because I've felt the difference in other people's cars. I'm glad I did because my old springs were about 2 inches shorter than the new ones.

Personally I've tried to order Lesjofers (OEM) but each time I've done it (I did new springs for the rear on my wagon), the dealer turned out to be noticeably cheaper.
