Sixto I can see no punch marks on the cam sprockets ( intermeshing). I used the hole that goes through the intermeshing cam sprocket and through the cam tower to find TDC and then 14.5BTC as the procedure says. I do not have the cam cover off I am looking through the the oil cap hole. The procedure says to look for the punch marks through the oil hole. You cannot see the punch marks unless the cam cover is off or when it is coming to TDC but you can easily see the alignment hole. I understand completely and can now proceed the haze and fog have cleared and the conflicting statements make sense. Does not explain why timing is off though.
