The timing is off because I messed it up. I had a great great deal of help from the lack of documentation/poor FSM for the 95 E300D. I would guess the Mercedes engineers are getting even with mechanics all over the world. I run into this nearly every time I work on something different on the car. I've been around garages since I was four mechanic'd since I was 9 or 10. Give me a Chilton any day, compared to a FSM for Mercedes, 10 orders of magnitude better.
