You should jack the front of the car at the crossmember behind the oil pan and place the jackstands under the jacking points (for the factory jack) on the rocker panels. Jack the rear up at the differential and place the rear stands in the same places (under the factory cut-outs in the rockers). As mentioned earlier in this thread, it's very important to invest in good garage equipment. I have a 3 ton Craftsman Industrial floor jack with a nice big saddle on it and four 6-ton heavy duty jackstands I bought off the Cornwell Tools guy. I think I bought the stands around xmas time a year or so back, and they were $42.95 a pair and the floor jack was around $129. Well worth the investment.
