As far as the W210 diesels go, some have been in the bargain basement pricing for years now. Four years ago, my indy thought he could steal my '99 E300TD by offering $4K. Really, I had to laugh at the guy for that - but he was a true bottom-feeder. All his personal MB stuff was sub-standard. I had turned down $13K the year before!
