The more I think about this, the more confussed I get.

Dave, you've told me in the past not to mess with factory LSDs because they are usually worn out anyways and now you have once again reitterated that above (in so many words). My turbo Volvo 940 wagon (945 in Volvo speak) has over 233,000 miles on it and yet it's posi is still nice and tight. Why is it unreasonable to expect that a 200,000+ mile MB posi would still be OK? My 945 came with a complete history dating back to it's infancy and no, it's never had any diff work done.

It's just unacceptable to me to have to spend $2,000+ on an LSD for a Benzer. UNACCEPTABLE!!! As I said before, I can buy a whole decent 940 turbo for that amount of money with a nice, tight posi already included!
