I questioned that too. Please correct me if Im wrong..
Green is wrong, it doesn't have the buffering capacity and additives to keep the plastic bits from getting brittle.

MB radiators have been aluminum for a LONG time, that is a lousy excuse for cheeping out on the coolant.
