Call it a "status symbol" if you want, but I chose my 2003 Dodge for its fuel economy, longevity, utility, safety, and phenomenal resale value that a car cannot touch. The S550 in the thread above this cost 3X as much when new, and is now worth about 1/3 what the Dodge is.
