these are the same kind of bolts used on my W124 - they have the pretty looking caps on them too.
the other problem with the new style bolts is that you need to carry a 17mm socket and 6 inch ratchet extension to start the bolts on the W210 wheels. My fingers maybe fat I presume because I have seen them in other cars and I thought - hmm - it'll be a fight to install those when they have a flat tire.
