I also installed a nitrous system on a Volkswagen size 2180 motor with dellorto carbs, started at 80 and went al the way to 150 additional nitrous horsepower, been runing for several years, used forged pistons and race gas c12 only, buggy weighs about 1200 lbs, total about 300 hp , crapped out at 80 shot, upgraded to a high output ignition and that did the trick, we kept up raising horsepower stopped at 150 shot
