Well here are the repairs. My wire speed was a little too high, so I ended up with some really fat welds, but I took it for a spin on a pot hole infested street no more squeaks!!! Silent like a German tomb again. In the guide it says two areas need to be welded, I found that only the upper portion was cracked. I am guessing that the whole reason this occurred is due aggressive driving and me swapping in H&R springs, sportline bushings and sway bars, Bilstein sport shocks and low profile tires, all this transmits more shock and stress to the chassis. I would have thought these cars would be a bit more stout. I am guessing that this will eventually crack again, probably further up away from the new weld. I might have to do some support triangulation to stiffen things in the future.
