Thought I found one, but it was FAKE
I had been trying to find time to go see a 1963 300SE on craigslist in Los Angeles. Just got back. First I was horrified because I realized that not only was the M189 engine tossed, but so was the MANUAL transmission. And all of the air suspension. It wasn't until I got home that I became less horrified. See pics, in particular the last pic. (This car has good original horns, isn't rusty, and is otherwise a complete disaster).
