Why? I would assume that most, if not all of the class goes for the 6. If they do, you get nothing. If they don't, you win. OTOH, if you go for 2 and most of the class goes for 6, you still get nothing. Might as well go big then, right?

I do not agree Going big pretty much guarantees you nothing, going small gives you a better chance of something depending upon the others in the class.
