Classic Euro Mercedes Benz Safety Hazard Triangle
Classic Euro Mercedes Benz Safety Hazard Triangle - $100
Safety Warning Hazard triangle for Vintage Mercedes-Benz. This is the OEM trunk-mounted reflective triangle which came standard in the European cars, and optional for the US models 1970's-1990's. These were available and will fit the following series; w116 w123 w124 w126 w201 coupe and sedan.
Very nice original condition. No cracks or rust.
$100- bill takes it.

Many years ago, I found two cased, folding German triangles in someone's trash, but they weren't the type that clipped to the trunk-lid.
I have read/heard that the trunk-triangles were NOT availible in the US, and were supposed to be removed from European delivery cars destined for the US, (though determined US buyers in Europe could insist the triangles be returned to them), due to some absurd reason that they weren't on the US DOT-approved list.
Several years ago, I sold a Euro-delivery 240D with the trunk-triangle to a neighbor, and wished I'd kept the triangle, as later-on some dirt-bag stole that car and torched it!
Since then, I found the clip for free at a P-N-P, and bought the trunk-triangle from another forum member for about $20, to add to my current '82 240D.
