I did that to a 1970 250c because I tried to disconnect the drive shaft before dragging it on a dolly. I couldn't get the rear disconnected. So I disconnected the front. It wouldn't slide out all the way. So I finally said "screw it" when the drive shaft was spinning freely of the trans. Good enough. Right? Oh the noise when I ran down the on ramp. Oh the noise coming from that car on the dolly. The noise stopped by the time I was about 1/4 mile down the highway. The three bolt holes of the yoke of the drive shaft had ripped all the sheet metal apart, Worse that in the picture in post 1. It cost me $200 on the sale price of the car. The guy who bought it still nearly doubled his money.
