If we're talking about the B-pillar trim, an upholstery supply or shop will have thin foam that can be glued to the back of the trim. You could scavenge some extra vinyl trim from a yard and repair in such a way that the patch isn't particularly noticeable.

I'm not sure what to clean it with but SEM makes a spray that was acceptably close in color (Palomino) for my floor mats and rear deck. Perhaps cleaning and painting will work. I ended up buying a case from Summit Racing.
