I bought an 87 300d w/ a whole slew of parts back a few years ago from a forum member in south jersey. the car served me well, and i think the seller was a stand-up individual.
among the slew was a complete engine/trans from another '87 300d w/ 188k on it/them. was told that it ran and drove well and had no issues.

asking $1400 for the pair picked up in Auburn, Pa.
