Here are a few of the latest upgrades, pictures to follow:
New windshield - old one cracked during a recent deep freeze;
Replaced 4x door cards with post 1991 leather door cards (with wood trim);
Installed front door speakers;
Replaced front springs - one of which was cracked - with low mile E420;
Replaced rear hatch gas struts (it actually stays up, even in cold weather!);
Replaced 94-95 head lights with 86-93 euro lights and wired in "city lights";
Replaced front brakes with 500SL/500E disks and rotors and stainless braided hoses (I'll upgrade the rears when I swap out the rear sub-frame);
Replaced rims with 16" W210 E420 (size now required because of brake upgrade);
Obtained, but not yet installed, 1992 leather front seats (Nice condition!);
Obtained, but not yet installed, post 1990 leather rear split seat bottoms;
Obtained, but not yet installed, post 1990 dash with wood trim;
Need leather rear split seat uppers.
I can't wait for warm weather!!
