we have considered adding all important parts to a 300 SEL 4.5 there is 1 on ebay right now that i have discuss with the owner, but the car is a titled car and is a 2 owner car , the 1st owner only kept it for 6 years, and the previous owner who kept the car for years was a highly ranked navy officer who stripped the car to be restored because of being away so much just did not have the time to finish the car, but it is a Germany delivered high compression, and the color was very rare, came with rear heated back window, so my thoughts are to try and save the car and keep as much originality to the car as i can, by replacing the rockers and all the floors other than where the roof cut there will be no visible sign the car was cut.
