The Nissan semi remote is a single push/pull , twist shaft that comes off the rear of the trans. This allows you to cut length to fit. Ford Aerostar manual trans vans might have used a similar set up. From what I recall, none are body mounted. Even if they were, making some mounts to hang the shifter from the tail shaft would be trivial.
