This may seem like a stupid question, but...

Is there *ANY* way to remove intake valve deposits other than a valve job (or the "BMW" method of blasting crushed walnut shells into the ports)? Does ANY fuel additive help to remove deposits that have already accumulated, not just help avoid additional deposits?

What about the type of fuel injection cleansing systems that hook up directly to the CIS system?

Does anyone have any experience with Lubro-Moly "Ventil Sauber", Chevron "Techron", etc.?

Looking forward to any and all input!
