I just replaced the fuel gauge sending unit in my 240d with a unit from a 300d. The needle now works perfectly but I noticed the fuel low light is on.

Is this a problem with the gauge in the dash?

The needle is showing the correct amount of fuel so the light should not be on.

Any ideas?
