The PC`s have the angled ends.

The dividing line on the Injection Pumps would be here also.
Mmmm... Pretty sure this motor..oh wait. I will check to see what the GPs are. My only choices are pencil or loop glow plugs, right?

The 616 in the car has pencil GP's. As I pulled and tested, and reamed the GP hole last fall. Had one pre-chamber out, but did not know enough about it to tell if it was rounded or not. What is the other style of Pre-chamber?(The 1980 300TD-NA has what I would call rounded end Pre-chambers)

Guess I am leaning towards a post 1980 IP, and if it delivers more fuel, I will enjoy the extra 5 HP.

Thanks for the replies. With some luck I will have a good running 616 for less than $100.
