I came to this forum from the biodiesel.infopop board (someone recommended it for tinkering advice). I think that everyone who would frequent the biodiesel/wvo/svo topic would hit diesel discussion, too. And, those dyed in the dino hide petrodiesel users wouldn't have to get annoyed at our tree-hugging, dumpster-diving, libertarian proclivities and could avoid us if they wanted.
btw, I started (oh, I'm sooo humble) a thread on the biodiesel.infopop board about all the other fluids required in my car. One of the replies was from somone with a '64 Rover that started eating oil like crazy. Prior to doing a total tear down, he decided to do an experiment and is using canola
from the grocery as his motor oil. He'll be posting the results soon. If he gets positive results (or any results), I'll share it here if anyone's interested.
