In the early '90's my dad traded in his W123 300D N/A with Bundts for a W124 200D with those exact rims! (that was in Europe). I liked those wheels as a kid too!
He got it like that from the Mercedes dealer, and the logo in the middle was the Mercedes star, but the rims looked identical to what you have there. I should see if I can find pictures of that somewhere...Were those rims ever an option on these cars?
