I installed Rollguy's $15 EGR blockoff plates on both my 300D's.

If you go fed, you will need to adapt your 85 CA air filter. Not hard and your rubber intake is probably degraded by now anyway. Search for my post using a silicone 90 deg duct. I even put an 85 CA filter in my 84 because I prefer it. I also posted Wix filter PN's that work much cheaper than factory filter (now ~$50). But, unlike me, you will have to insert an oil drain stub in the turbo inlet. I used the oil drain stub in the upper oil pan of my engines (85 CA doesn't have). You could also use an oil capture can like many do.

Before all that, ask why. Unlikely you still have the trap oxidizer since a free recall replaced with a catalytic converter (called something I forgot). Search for posts. If shiny, it is the latter. The cc doesn't appear to give much restriction. Mine looked fine, I just replaced my 85 CA engine because it failed.
