$#^*ing 5 cylinder engine, I spent 5 hours trying to get the starter out. 3 hours working on getting the bolts out, and 2 hours trying to get it out from the engine compartment. I finally realized that if I took the alternator off, the starter can come out that way. Then I spent 3 hours trying to get the oil filter housing off, and I striped out all the allen head bolts, so I need to get some new ones. This is why it took me 3 hours to get it off. At least I have all the parts off now, now later this week I can put the new ones on, and it should take me probally no less than an hour to get everything back together. At least I figured out how everything goes together and comes apart. Next time it will only take me 2 hours to do all this work
