JackD this is what i want to do with my car as you may have seen from the link, i don't understand why more people haven't attempted this conversion i think it is a fantastic idea. I plan on doing a little work on my engine whie it is out of the car aswell, just to try and raise the peak power to about 250hp maybe 350hp if i do a forced induction, i don't see how it can be so hard, these merc motors are very strong, and they are very well built coming out with lots of power initially.

tell me of your plans because i am interested in going ahead with this plan for myself as soon as the finances come through.
