As I understand it seconds should go about the same in lifespan. Technically seconds cannot deliver the total amps labeled on test at the end of the production line.


Because of the pre charging today that has defined limits before sale. As I mentioned earlier this might also be a factor. Basically there is no reason to suspect them to not last as long in service. The short lifespan of a battery today is usually underuse or periods of no use plus perhaps deep discharging. I have experienced them all at one time or another. On so called first line batteries.
