I did check cylinder #2 with the same results. Unfortunately I will have to wait until later in the week to get back in the garage. Probably need to find a better compressor to maintain 100 psi. The compressor that I have will not keep up with how quickly the pressure bleeds off. You are right, I will try and get another compression test on #1 to see if I can recreate the 300 psi. If the rings are truly worn, is it possible to install new rings to get a little more life out of the car or is it a matter of worn out ring and equally worn out cylinder inserts, ie. costly rebuild?
