Our niece is selling a very large house converted into apartments. It needs work and I really did not look at the proposition too hard. As at my age we are not getting into anything else.


My gut feeling is unless rents rise substantially it is not a good proposition. I guess I might have got an option from her and flip it as her price is reasonable.


Other than she is a member of the family and might resent it. I have this feeling as well that I might not find a buyer. The really very high end rentals seem where to be today.
