Yet again reviving my thread here, garaged this thing for the winter but now need to get back on the issues. After all of that work having that vibration issue killed my motivation to troubleshoot until now. Still dealing with the vibration in the lower RPM range.
My best thinking so far is that when I modified the IP as per some instructions on STD (sorry don't have source available, but it involved removing something and turning some screws, which now I wish I'd never done - so long ago I've now forgotten), I did something incorrectly :/
My worst case scenario is that it's an issue with the match balanced flywheel, but in listening to the engine idle and pulse at idle (but like 70% of the time, not all the time) that the two issues are likely related.
My best option at this point - I believe - is to put another unmodded IP on there.
So this post in multi-fold:
-Does my thinking sound sound to you? New IP and pray?
-ANYTHING else that could cause this low RPM violent vibration, given all info in previous posts?
-Do you, sir or madam, have a good condition IP you'd like to part with? Have a want-ad in the classifieds too...
