One problem I recently encountered with 606 gp change is the plastic electrical connectors. They become brittle and break when removing them, and then no longer securely snap onto the new glow plugs.

Thankfully, the plastic portion of this connector is its own part and is easy to replace. Mercedes part number 019-545-54-28 available from Pelican. Current pricing is $2.50 each, very reasonable. I just replaced all of mine. Once you have the new ones in hand, you'll get how they work. It's two pieces that snap together, easy.
