The weather stripping we got for my brother's car had to be cut -- it was supplied in a single length, just a bit long for the rear door, much too long for the front. MB factory part, too, so I guess cut to fit is the order of the day. Probably makes it possible to supply one part for a number of cars, fits the longest application exactly, must be trimmed for the others.

Makes a big difference in noise, too!
