My euro bi-xenon retrofit experience on a 00' ML320

In short, it's harder than I expected.

Just installed a pair of euro spec bi-xenon on my 00' ML320 today. I also bought a pair of pigtail adapters from PP for this job. In my case, only the low beam work with the pigtail adapter. This pigtail adapter does not connect the hi-beam power correctly. I have to rearrange the hi-beam wire on the pigtail and to solder a ground jumper wire inside the headlight housing to make the xenon high beam and halogen high beam working. On this Euro bi-xenon, it uses seperate ground for low beam and high-beam. Is it a problem for euro spec only? The PP adapter only provide three connection. High-beam, Low-beam, and ground(only work for low-beam). If I have the crimping pin used in the connector, I would connect parking light to the daylight driving light also. This connector is made by Delphi, I will probably get some pins from later to complete this job. For now, I will have working hi-low beams and the halogen high beam. This pair of euro-spec bi-xenons are used, so I don't what year they are.

Any other issue, I had a hard time reinstalling the plastic clip holding the filler panel to the body. I gave up. The panel seems to be very secure even without the clip.

It seems to be a very straight forward retro for other people here. It takes 3 times longer than I expected to finish this job. Do the euro spec and US spec. have different wiring?

Here's the wiring arrangment I figured out on my car's headlight connector.

Just like to share this info.
