Here's a thought; another poster mentioned that the total price of the parts in ANY car amounts to six to eight times the selling price of the car.

Car sells for $10,000.00
Individual price of parts: approx $60,000.00

Which means you could get more money parting the car out than selling it outright. Of course that means you have to advertise, take parts off the car, prepare the parts for shipment, etc.

You may or may not have the time or want to take the time to do that. That said, parts for vintage Mercedes Benz automobiles are getting harder to locate.

For the sake of the vintage Mercedes Benz community, please don't send the car to the crusher.
