EDIT: Local pickup in Portland, OR only. Sorry. And sorry for omitting that in the original post.
I sold my Mercedes, and now I have some tools to get rid of.
I bought this a few years ago to replace the boots on my 300d. I did it. It worked great. I don't drive old cars anymore, so I am selling this.
Astoria describes the gun like this:
The Rapid Flexx Gun is an air-compressor powered tool that expands our Flexx CV Boots and rack and pinion steering boots over their respective shafts, allowing the boots to be replaced in one third the time it usually takes (see a demo video at Tel. 1-866-694-5369 - Home).
Included are 5 FB3001 boots that fit the old Mercedes and presumably other cars. The boots come with clamps and a packet of grease, except one of them doesn't have the grease. Astoria says this about the boots:
Flexx Boot Universal Replacement CV Boot for Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) and Cars with axles that are 26 millimeters and larger. The Flexx Boot FB 3001 is a universal replacement CV boot for Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) and large cars with axles that are 27 millimeters and larger. The boot is made of rugged, durable NEO 50 / CR +32 component rubber. Each boot comes with one #3 and one #4 Gomex clamp as well as one packet of CV boot grease.

If you're interested, send a PM or email. I also have a compressor I could sell cheap if you need one.
Thanks.
Mike
